OpenVZ container running webERP-4.10.1 available for download
Hi All,
I've made up a OpenVZ container which consists of a fully installed webERP-4.10.1
running the weberpdemo database, plus the following configured applications:-

* WackoWiki
* Phpmyadmin
* Mysql-workbench
* Cups (print server)
* Oracle Java
* SchemaSpy

Proxmox is a free Virtual Machine and the install CD is available at :-
http://www.proxmox.com. You install Proxmox on a empty PC with no operating system
and can load up OpenVZ containers and have them running in under a couple of minutes.

Proxmox itself is very simple to install, try it, you'll be surprised, as everything is automated.
Two minutes to have a fully installed webERP that you can muck up, delete, and then just reload .

Proxmox will also run any other OS such as a licensed Windows 7 if you install it.

Naturally, the better the hardware, the faster the machine, Virtual Machines like RAM and CPU, as much as you have!

The WebERP login is "admin" and the password is "weberp123"
Just start the container and browse to http://192.168.0.18/webERP/index.php naturally you can easily change the IP to suit your own situation in the Proxmox control panel.

For Linux admins, the root password is 'root' and there is also a user login "user" password "user". Xorg is installed and a browser may be run via "remote X windows" which has webERP, WackoWiki, SchemaBrowser and Cups bookmarked.

Here is how Remote X is run .............................
tp@ubuntu1310x64:~$ ssh -Y user@192.168.0.18
user@192.168.0.18's password: < enter "user" here>
Linux weberp-deb7 2.6.32-20-pve #1 SMP Wed May 15 08:23:27 CEST 2013 i686

The programs included with the Debian GNU/Linux system are free software;
the exact distribution terms for each program are described in the

permitted by applicable law.
Last login: Wed Aug 7 02:08:39 2013 from 192.168.0.49
user@weberp-deb7:~$ iceweasel
-->and up pops Firefox (called iceweasel by debian)
....................................................................................
The container is 1.12 GB in size, and is freely available for download on my hosted server at:- http://www.portertech.org/test/weberp-4....vz.tar.lzo

the MD5sum is: ee9df97fce465d7c78fd3860a98014f3 weberp-4.10.1-openvz.tar.lzo

RE: OpenVZ container running webERP-4.10.1 available for download
I've moved my article (for now) to my hosted bulletin board as editing and adding pictures etc is a lot faster, but please ask any questions here as this is the correct forum.
Please see http://lisglug.org/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=42&p=47#p47 for the updated article with pictures.

Cheers
Terry
