language problem (solved. sort of...)
it seems that I cannot change the interface language.

version 4.0.7 installed from scratch and using weberpdemo

I can choose whatever language, it is still in english. All permissions seem to be ok on all files
www-data is the owner of all files/folder

I added a user to see if it would do a difference. No luck
I have also tried to change the default language in config.php

Bug or have I sand in my eyes?

-----------------------
Solved the problem with the help of
http://weberp-accounting.1478800.n4.nabb...l#a4408709

sudo locale-gen fr_FR.utf8
sudo apache2 service restart

Yes - you must have the locale installed on your PHP server.

RE: language problem (solved. sort of...)
Hi, Sir:

Just issue command: locale -a to check if France locale installed in your linux or unix-like system.

You can issue following command: locale-gen fr_FR.UTF-8 to add France locale.

Hope it's helpful.

Best regards!

RE: language problem (solved. sort of...)
for now I am leaving this as it is.

I will do some test on a blank machine later on regarding this problem.

I have never generated hindi, vietnamese or else and I can view the site in those languages.

don't worry, I'll come back to you if I still have problems when I do those tests

Hi, Sir,

You should write the command at Linux console if you're running webERP in linux or Unix-Like system.

Best regards!
