What is "ItemPDF" when importing stock items from CSV file
Hi all, this is my first time importing items using Z_ImportStocks. The mapping from the provided "Import Template" to stockmaster fields is obvious for all but ItemPDF. What is this? Is this the "appendfile" field in stockmaster?

Also, is performing a "stock check" ("Inventory Check" in the manual) still the recommended way to enter initial stock quantities?

Thanks,
Dale

There was some functionality to have files/documents stored against stock items but I am not sure it is maintained these days.

Yes a stock count is the cheeky way to upload all item quantities.

RE: What is "ItemPDF" when importing stock items from CSV file
As I recall it was implemented because somebody wanted the ability to attach a pdf of technical specifications for some of their stock items to the stockmaster record, and I felt at the time that this was something worth having in the main line.

I have no recollection of why or when it was removed, or why it was only half removed.
