duplicate order lines when items has several BOMs
Hi Folks

Issue: an order line is printed n times (instead of once) if a SKU has n BOMs

To recreate the issue:

1)
create an item "item1"(UOM each, controlled)

2)
create a item '"kit1" (UOM case, KIT)
create a BOM for an "kit1" with component "item1" quantity 12

3)
create a item '"kit2" (UOM case, KIT)
create a BOM for an "kit2" with component "item1" quantity 18

4)
enter a sale order by ordering 3 x kit2
the order HTML page shows the correct quantity

BUT: the PDFs show two lines (and even n lines if there were n BOMs using the same item component)
However, the invoice total is correct

please confirm you see the same

thanks!

RE: duplicate order lines when items has several BOMs
...so are you saying that duplicate lines are only with the PDF?

Correct. The order in HTML displays correctly
Only the PDFs have this issue (quotation and invoice) but the totals are correctly displayed in the PDFs

**** UPDATE ****
I think the problem is not weberp related, the reason being I altered the query in printcustrans with a LEFT JOIN in order to display in my PDFs the bom.quantity. But there is no way to determine that 150 units displayed on the invoice come from 3 kits of 50 or 2 kits of 75.
I think we can close the case.
