Goods/Product Receiver

Goods/Product Receiver
Since we are using Lot/Batch control it would be nice if I could print a "Receiver" without any pricing information. I realize I can do this by printing a PO without pricing information but it would be nice to show a Lot/Batch Number line under each line item so we can record it during PO receipt. I did something similar for the Packing Lists so the packer/picker could record Lot/Batch Numbers.

In ECi M1 ERP we use a "Receiver" based upon the PO to aid with material receipts. The Receiver utilizes logic to print dimensional inputs for QM based upon Fit/Form/Function of the context of the part.

I realize one day this will all be done via a terminal in the warehouse but right now we don't even have an ISP at that location.

Does anybody else have a need for something similar?

I am suffering from a bad cold, so have probably completely misunderstood this but aren't we talking about the GRN? Or at least can't the GRN be adapted to suit your needs?

The GRN is the result of having received the goods/products and we do print that and keep it on record.

Again, we have no terminal in the warehouse right now so we print PO and give it to receiver. He checks receipt and writes down Lot/Batch numbers on the paper PO. Later it is returned to the office for entry with Lot/Batch numbers that came in.

For small orders I get pictures of the labels via cell phone.

I hope you feel better Tim...

Could this be a new column on the PO table on PO_SelectOSPurchOrder.php, perhaps labelled "Print Receipt Paperwork", linked to a new script which outputs a PDF with the required PO info?
