Internal Stock Request - No Control - SOLVED
While working on another related issue I noticed that the Internal Stock Request feature does not take into account controlled Stock. When issuing stock we should be presented with an interface showing what is available and how much to move.

Has anybody else noticed this and, if so, do you happen to have revised code to manage issue of controlled stock?
Can we make use of code existing in StockTransferControlled.php and includes/DefineSerialItems.php?

RE: Internal Stock Request - No Control
The internal stock request system was created to satisfy demand for consumables, stationery etc. So controlled items didn't really come into it.

The other discussion is widening it's use so maybe controlled items should now come onto it.

Ah... Very good point on consumables but with certain things, like weld wire for ASME VIII, controlled items must also be tracked.

Had we used webERP for our steel mill startup this would have also been a requirement.

RE: Internal Stock Request - No Control
Looking at ConfirmDispatchControlled_Invoice.php and StockTransferControlled.php...

More nit-picky input but it would seem these two scrips could be better reconciled, if not even combined and shared in some way...

My plan is to use one of them as the starting point for Internal Stock Requests of controlled items but...

If they could somehow be combined and abstracted perhaps one script could serve all three...

Changes committed to SVN.

I applied a couple of minor layout changes above yours: added CSS to center the 'Requested Date' and the 'Controlled' checkbox.

Me too!

I don't have any handling with lot/serial related stuff, so it'll take input from people like you, HDeriauFF, and others that do work with this kind of information to know.
