RE: POS(Point of Sales)?
I am working on a proper POS - that does not rely on having any internet connection (or LAN based connection to webERP) on a full time basis - see http://www.weberp.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=3

I am thinking I will sell this for a token amount.

webERP has a sort of POS built in which is called Counter Sales - this allows users to do sales quickly (over the counter) and record customer receipts directly. There is no receipt printing/end of day/cash drawer integration functionality as there is with a proper POS.

glad to hear some response from the author(s) =D
the countersales.php is not working for me because it keeps saying i have to add some branches. in fact we got 2 retail shops and hope to get some experience in erp. i took a look in the webcarterp and i dunno how to integrate with the weberp which was deployed in our own server but not joomla. or any web-based POS can integrated with webERP?

anyway, thanks phil. feel free for contact me for some java codings. i read some threads that u guys are working on it =D

RE: POS(Point of Sales)?
you need to set counter sales up first, by definning the cash sale customer that wil have the innvoices and payments initiated in the Counter Sales posted against them. These are setup against the location record. See the sales orders section in the manual, search for "setting up Counter sales"

RE: POS(Point of Sales)?
I have been unable to complete it because I need to get a receipt printer to test the printing with.

RE: POS(Point of Sales)?
I have completed my first run at this separate POS - that works independently on it's own, but pulls data from webERP and send transactions back to webERP over xml-rpc

see http://www.weberp.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=3
