Does the Utilities Import Stock Items from .csv ( Z_ImportStocks.php) works or not? I have try many time and still cannot import any item.
Therefore, I am appreciated if anyone have an example *.csv that works so I can follow. Thanks.

It appears that bugs have been introduced into this script. I am attaching the correct version of Z_ImportStocks.php. It seems that I cannot attach a csv file (for some reason that file type is blocked??) but I can send by email if you want.

Thanks
Tim

I should mention as well, that Excel saves its csv files with an incorrect mime type (or at least it used to last time I checked) so beware of this issue.

Thanks

Hi Tim,

for testing, this might be of general interest.
Can you attach with some other extension (like **renaeme_to_csv.php)?

It would help to see the format and test - we will do that sometime soon, as well.

Thanks,

Klaus

Hi Klaus, still get this:

"Please correct the following errors before continuing:
The type of file that you attached is not allowed. Please remove the attachment or choose a different type."

I have your email address so will send it to you by email.

Thanks
Tim

Interesting. So the forum does not look at the extension but at the file contents.

I appreciate your pm.

I've added this extension to the configuration so it should accept csv type and interpret at text/plain mime type.

Hi Tim,

Phil added an extension so it should accept csv type file. Can you please upload again a sample .csv file that I can follow your example.

Thank you,
Willson
