Inventory Categories GL Settings
Hi All
I have a system that I am setting up and using data from our old system, is setting up the Inventory Categories and trying to match the old system gl with the new system gl in the categories. Could someone possibility help me match them up? I do understand that in the old system some of these may be setup in the Company Settings in weberp below is the info from the old system. I have two of them figured out Inventory 1200 and WIP GL 1130.
OLD SYSTEM
Description: Direct Orders
Inventory: 1200
Sales: 4000 SALES DIRECT
Cost Of Goods: 5000 COST ON MERCH. DIRECT
Receipts: 2100 ACCCOUNTS PAYABLE
Adjustments: 5010 COST OF MERCH.WAREHOUSE
In Transit: 1130 ACCTS REC – SUSPENSE
Physical Diacrep.: 5050 INVENTORY VARIANCE
Temporary Inventory: 1250 INVENTORY – NON STOCK
Non inventory: 1250 INVENTORY – NON STOCK
NEW SYSTEM
Category Code: Test
Category Description: Test Item
Inventory Type: Finished Goods
Default Tax Category: Taxable Supply
Inventory GL Code: 1200
WIP GL Code: 1130
Inventory Adjustments GL Code:
Internal Stock Issues GL Code:
Price Variance GL Code:
