Hi I am new at using weberp? Does weberp have documentation on how periods work? what triggers automatic generation? I need to understand this to explain it to my boss. I think this is a great open source erp system. Thanks

The code is all there so you can see for yourself - care is taken to ensure that the code is as readable as it possibly can be.

The function GetPeriod($Some_Given_Date, $db) in the file includes/DateFunctions.inc is responsible for figuring out which period a date belongs in ... if the date belongs in a period subsequent or prior to the defined periods then new periods are defined and inserted into the database.
