permissions for weberp after install

permissions for weberp after install
Hello All,

I recently followed a really decent video regarding weberp install via shared host (bluehost)...

For the install you change both directory and file permissions, but after the install was finished details were not given to change permissions back...

Any protips for what permissions should be (for both files and directories) -currently mine are 0755 for directories, and 0644 for files Sad

many thanx,

RE: permissions for weberp after install

When you are using web-based system, it is better give minimum permission to file system. Generally give only read & execute permission to Apache user.

Best Regards
You can use 500.

1. chmod 500 www/ -R
2. chown www-data www/ -R
chown apache www/ -R
[Use your Apache username]

Best Regards
