Wink  transfer orders direct to customers
if a particular part was out of stock a one location but was in stock at another location would there be a way to create like a transfer order that would still ship to the customer, so it would be tied to the original sales order so all the freight and any other cost would be added to one order with out having to create a new sales order for that item. when the line item is put in a alternate button called maybe sourcing would create a transfer order with that item to come from the selected whse branch

Why not just change the "Deliver From Warehouse" on the order to the location with the material and ship it from there?

I really dont want to change the deliver whse as i want the transfer order to be tied to the sales order so freight and any other cost are included to the original sales document to keep track of the cost in a efficient way for tracking purposes

The Business Rules for Credit transfers, SEPA Direct debits and Cash Management describe from a business perspective the business cases with the parties involved and the messages used (payment types), shows the message structures with details of the individual structural elements and lists the most important validation rule and error handling.

RE: transfer orders direct to customers
The purpose of warehouse transfer that I would like to have is that if the stock warehouse is out of the part and if it is in stock at another warehouse the csr or sale order entry person and or customer can have the item transferred directly to them instead of the warehouse then them. then if the transfer ships out the shipping cost is tied to the original sales order and is then confirmed as if the warehouse sent it to the transfer warehouse to be received.

Well simply by changing the location of the sales order, the same sales order is used and the goods can be shipped from this other location and the cost of sales entry is created on invoicing from the other location.
There is no way to tie transfer shipping cost to an order
