How to delete the information for just the current year ? please help

I have a problem that i want to delete the hall information for just my current year with saving the information of the previous years because of business changing.

How to do it ?

should i close accounts or they get already closed in the end of the period?

You can start a new company database if the business has changed.

It is not necessary to close accounts. If you wish to protect prior periods from being posted to there is a flag in the configuraiton that prohibits posting to periods prior to a specified period - which you can change at each month end after reporting has been completed.
