Bank Account Balance Error!!!
Hi,
I have two Bank accounts, one in CHF (Base Currency) and one in EUR.
I posted a transfer from the EUR account to the CHF account for EUR 9,376.90 and CHF 10,000.
I used the proper exchange rate and the EUR account is OK.
Surprisingly, the CHF account has accrued a difference, which seems to me more than odd.

This is what happens:
Previous Balance: -2,033.64
Bank Transfer: +10,000.00
New Balance: 8,128.82 WHICH IS OBVIOUSLY WRONG!!!

Please see attached screenshot for details.

Please help me in fixing it neatly.
Thanks,
Hi,
looked at the "bantrans" table and noted that for that transaction the "exrate" field rate was set to 0.9840139067991.
I manually changed it to 1 and the balance brought forward is now correct.
I hope I did not compromise the database consistency, though...
I think think there is a bug which should be fixed.
Thanks

RE: Bank Account Balance Error!!!
Hi Exon,
Thank you very much for the new files! I will test them soonest.

Since you did not comment, I assume that correcting manually the exchange rate in the DB was the right thing to do.

Best regards
