2 Taxes to 1 item
Hello Everybody,

I'm having problems with trying to apply 2 taxes to the same item, i was able to create the Tax group but i dont know how to apply it to a product.

Can someone explain me how to do this step by step, i dont have much knowledge on accounting so its not too easy for me.

Thanks in advance.

Jose from Costa Rica.

you need to define a tax group with two tax authorities - so two different taxes are calculated when this tax group is effective. The customer branch needs to be set up to use this tax group and the rates need to be set up for both tax authorities for the warehouse locations that you are making the sale from.

Thanks for your response Phil.

- I have defined a tax group with two tax authorities.
- I have set the customer branch to that newly defined Tax Group.
- Then I set the rates for both Tax Authorities and set the warehouse to that Authority

The problem is that I can't apply the 2 taxes to the Item
On the Item details I can only apply a 1 category.

When I create a quotation for that Item it only applies the tax for that category.

I dont know what I'm missing.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Jose.
