BOM cross over
This could be an interesting one of session cross over of variables. We had a requirement to manufacture something . As one is well aware there is the part and its sub assembly components. The operator opened up say part 1 that had sub parts A, B and C to make it . However she realised there was not enough of C , so she opened another TAB and as C was also a manufacture item she called up C to make with x and y . She made C , however as the other Tab had 1 in it C was made with 1's parts and not x and y.

This cross over could happen in Journal entries if one has more than one tab open with info in it , even sales orders , etc.

Any comments would be wellcome

Thanks

RE: BOM cross over
Hi, Johns:

Thanks for your report!

Tim and me are fixing those related scripts. You can find more details here. Tim has already fixed these vendor tender related scripts. You can get it from the trunk.

You can find more information here:

RE: BOM cross over
Hi, Johns,

Would you like to give more detail about the scripts you're opening? And the step of your operation?

Best regards!
