Information  Production based on recipes.
Do any of you build production with recipes?
I want to test Weberp. See if you can execute production based on a recipe.
In this thread I'll report on the work.

I would be grateful for all comments and help.

Let me start with the production schedule. (In preparation)

Schematic tasks for WebERP.

Support for raw material entrusted. Scheme A.
The standard production. Schema B

Will produce according to the diagram "A"

Problem 1
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Adoption of the state entrusted to the raw material.
How do I?

Insert New Item
[Image: przyj%25C4%2599cie%2520na%2520stan%2520s...zonego.JPG]

Part Description (short): "Name of finished product"

Part Description (long): "What is to be made"

Category: "dzianina" (The name assigned to the department of raw materials)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the production process it is important to know the quantity and
weight of the material entrusted.

Problem 1.1
///////////////////////////////////

How to assign two units of measure for the material?

I'll try to take advantage of Packaged Volume (Cubic Feet).
If I succeed, ask the administrator - how to change the description of the unit of measure, or
To add a range of other units of measurement?
Cubic Feet --> pc.
or
Cubic Feet, pc ...etc
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another graph illustrated the production process.

RE: Production based on recipes.
Hi, Sir:

You should prepare BOM first. Then create a work order, then issue those material needed. You'd better to read the manufacture feature of webERP from manual.

Best regards!

RE: Production based on recipes.
Hi, sir:
Thank you for your attention and suggestions.

I want to prepare a BOM on the production schedule.
Selected items will be calculated based on the mass of material. The remaining components based on the amount of water for the selected machine.

I must now determine the qualification of materials. For example, the machine as a phantom? Assembly, Kit or Service / Labour.

.................
I have read the manual.
WebERP. For a discrete material specification (also called a development of the product structure) is defined as a combination of materials, intermediate products, assemblies, subassemblies, components, components, parts and quantities that are necessary to produce the finished product (automotive, metal, construction, furniture, aerospace industry, etc.)
At the beginning of the subject graph A and B.
WebErp for graph A is applicable.

The production process based on the prescription contains patterns.
At the moment I do not see the possibility of using WebErp for such production.

I am not a specialist ERP. I am sure that I do not know everything.

Maybe I can use WebErp. I really like. It is a professional.
I want to help in its creation.

Best regards!

Robert

RE: Production based on recipes.
Hi, Sir:

If I were you, I'd study the BOM first. You should first create a finished items which classified as manufactured. Then you can create a level1 item which should be phantom such as ItemC, it can be made up of a dummy item which stands for processing overhead, and phantom such as ItemB, it's also a phantom which also have components of waters, chemicals and phantom named as ItemA. Item A, B and C should be level parts. They should have their own BOM too. You can also add different work centers according to different processes.

webERP has a very smart design which including routine in the BOMs. That means you can add processes information into BOMs.

And in order to issue materials to factory, you should create Work Orders after running MRP. It'll suggest the Work Orders to be created. And materials to be purchased.

It's quite complicated this part. The manual gives lots of information and it should be read carefully. And you have to try it yourself.

Best regards!
