strstr error after installation

I installed weberp on my website but when i tried to login, it came up with the following error:

"Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_strstr() in /home/gboyega/public_html/weberp/includes/MiscFunctions.php on line 112"


Can anyone tell me how to resolve this problem?
