see screenshot please

unable to locate stock code: I assume it talking about the stock code in the upper left of the box

the entered item code does not exist: are we talking about the partial stock code on the right of the box? in which case the sentence is maybe not very clear.

------
hum just saw something I suspect, could you confirm or infirm please?
Are we using "stock code" "article code" "item code" and so on for the same and unique thing: "item code"?

RE: StockTransfers.php - error message referring to what?
Hi, James,

When you know the Stock code, will you still to enter partial code to search?

So I think it does make sense to let item code refer to stock code or article code. Do you think so?

Best regards!

RE: StockTransfers.php - error message referring to what?
well, my problem is not in which box I should enter a code or part of a code.

Throughout the software, I bump into

stock code
item code

are they the same code throughout the software or are they 2 different things?

same for
stock category
sales category

same thing or different?

Hi, James,

Both Stock code and partial stock code are one kind of item code in the scripts.

Stock category and sales category are absolutely different things. Stock category are used in lots of place in webERP, but sales category is used to integrated with CartwebERP only, so it does like a orphan scripts.

Hope it's helpful.

Best regards!
