the menu leading to this page is at

main menu / inventory / maintenance / view or update prices based on costs.

Once on the page, it seems that it is a "display things only" page, nothing to do with updating prices. (but I am using a empty db)

then the "title" of the page is Update price by cost
whilst it is written underneath "use this report to display price list with the cost"

You can update prices based on costs in this script?
Changed the help text to "Prices can be displayed based on their relation to cost"

Yes, it does allow you to change prices. Script shows you the "recommended price" as cost * factor (paramenter). Then you can mofidy the price of the item.

We used it few months ago and it worked. On our wishlist we will modify it to change the price sometime in the future (still on wishlist).
