it is a bit disturbing to have to upgrade the database after we have just installed the software.
no big deal, just weird. http://fr.linkedin.com/in/jamesdupin |

RE: database upgrade after install from scratch
Hi, James,
You can try 4.07.1 which is available on sourceforge now. It's uploaded yesterday. The database in 4.07 only hold data of 4.06 in weberp-demo.sql or weberp-new.sql. But the scripts in ConnectDB.inc is changed to 4.07. That's why it'll show the upgrade messages and need to update. Best regards! Exson |

RE: database upgrade after install from scratch (closed)
Well I think when we release it is important to run the make_release.sh to ensure that the database is dumped with the correct version in it and updated in svn with new sql/mysql/weberp-new.sql and demo.sql
If the previous database is used then the upgrade will be required to be run when a new system is created. Either way it all works out, but best to ensure the database dump is from the current version by running build/make_release.sh Phil Daintree webERP Admin Logic Works Ltd http://www.logicworks.co.nz |
