New Work Order Warning Message
I created a manufactured item (Item M) and two purchased components (Item A, Item B) and a Labor item (Item L). Then, I setup the Standard Costs for Item A, Item B, and Item L.

I created a Bill Of Materials for Item M (BOM M) and added Items A, B, and L to BOM M. I ran the "Costed Bill of Material Inquiry" report for Item M and saw the costs associated with BOM M. They are correct.

Finally, I created a New Work Order using Item M and got the following Message:

"The cost of this item as accumulated from the sum of the component costs is nil. This could be because there is no bill of material set up ... you may wish to double check this"

Am I missing a step in creating a Work Order for a Manufactured Item? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I figured out it has something to do with the Work Centre and Location. The only time I can get it to work properly is using the "Melbourne" location and "Assembly" Work Centre. Any ideas?

RE: New Work Order Warning Message
The bill of material is specific to a location - check that the location (in this case factory) is the same as the location you defined the bom for

RE: New Work Order Warning Message
I found the problem. I had to change the Default Location under "User Maintenance" in order for WorkOrderEntry.php to work properly.
