variance write off/ price var of
I have a question about variance write off/ price var of posting to GL account.
1. I assume that this would be a profit loss account is that correct.
2. In the original setup there is a GL 4200 Sales Exchange Gains/Losses would this be a good gl to post this to.
Thanks for all the help

I believe 4200 is for sales gains/losses but we have no entries in gltrans table. Our gltrans table shows 4900 for sales discounts and 5200 for purchase gains/losses.

I got to looking and 5200 is setup for something else in this system but they have a 5250 purchase gains/losses and i see now that 4200 is where currency differences would be posted to so I will have them post to the 5250.
Thanks
For the help
