RE: Bringing WebERP into a New Tableless UI Design
Hi Phil,
Here is the newly 'adapted' theme "New SilverWolf":
I've done several changes:
- The link on the quick menu and main menu will behave like real "buttons", that is when you click anywhere in the button area, it will activate the link!
- Any unused styles (all I can find) on the CSS file has been removed to clean up things
- I've add many comments to clarify what's doing what on the CSS
- Many CSS class (styles) which is not clear where it is being used, is now had it explanation on where it is used in the *.php or *.inc .
- This New SilverWolf theme would be a 'model' or as an example to those who want to make a new theme for WebERP.
The file is now very tiny (all unnecessary files removed):
New SilverWolf.zip (Size: 11.62 KB / Downloads: 12)
RE: Bringing WebERP into a New Tableless UI Design
I've committed the new silverwolf - looking good :-)
I've also tried to figure out which images are needed and deleted all the rubbish. Had to reinstate a couple when I realised I was over-zealous!!
Thanks for sticking with it and applying your changes to the other themes ... sometimes I've found I end up picking up the bits in situations like this so refreshing to have someone committed to seeing the job through.
Hope it is not too much of an ordeal reworking them. Hopefully it will be more logical for folks coming after now.

It would be great to clean out so we only have the images we need as I suspect that there are way too many currently.... but check out for example:
would need to go through all images like this to figure out what is required and what is just padding out the archive.
Oops! I must have been missed it. I've search trough the *.php *.inc for anything .png
I guess somebody must have start documenting what files for what, and if it's required, or just for a theme's specific. on a readme.txt perhaps?

No problem! It's been quite a long time I feel challenged to improve the UI. I think I finally had a determination and courage to just do it
Hope this could make some positive impact for the WebERP community.

Hi again,
This is the New Gel theme... screenshot:
File is here:
New Gel.zip (Size: 34.66 KB / Downloads: 4)
NOTE: Gel and Jelly are really a very similar themes, so I think it should really considered as the same theme. That's why I will adapt them as one theme only, the New Gel theme!
