Bug tracking software

I have got the bug tracking software working (I think) if people want
to try it and let me know if there are any problems. I am new to
Mantis so I am still learning.

Phil: Thanks for this. Can you now make the bugs/problems forum read
only? Also can you add it to the support page on sourceforge?

I notice you have put on the web site that bugs can be reported
wherever people like, irc/mailing list/forums etc ("All reports of
bugs are gratefully received and reporting through any of the above
channels whichever is the most convenient for you is appreciated.").
This seems wrong to me, is it not best that all bugs information be in
the same place? I would suggest the bug tracker is the best place to
keep this info. Having bugs reported in many different places will
lead to chaos. The point is to make our lives easier not harder :-)
