There is a theme - professional-rtl that puts the writing from right to left - I am not sure how well this works.

You don't need to use POEdit - but it is really easy if you do ... get the program poedit from

http://www.poedit.net/download.php

The take the messages.pot file in the webERP distribution at

webERP/locale/en_GB.utf8/LC_MESSAGES/messages.pot

and make a new directory:

webERP/locale/ar_AE.utf8/LC_MESSAGES

or maybe one of:
Quote:Arabic (Algeria) : ar_DZ
Arabic (Bahrain) : ar_BH
Arabic (Egypt) : ar_EG
Arabic (Iraq) : ar_IQ
Arabic (Jordan) : ar_JO
Arabic (Kuwait) : ar_KW
Arabic (Lebanon) : ar_LB
Arabic (Libya) : ar_LY
Arabic (Morocco) : ar_MA
Arabic (Oman) : ar_OM
Arabic (Qatar) : ar_QA
Arabic (Saudi Arabia) : ar_SA
Arabic (Sudan) : ar_SD
Arabic (Syria) : ar_SY
Arabic (Tunisia) : ar_TN
Arabic (United Arab Emirates) : ar_AE
Arabic (Yemen) : ar_YE

and save your translation file under this directory as messages.po

poedit is very easy to use - is shows you the message and you have to enter the translation.

If you prefer not to use poedit you can simply load up

webERP/locale/en_GB.utf8/LC_MESSAGES/messages.po in your text editor and add the msgstr translations below the msgid strings (the english string

RE: translate weberp into arabic
There is a Persian translation - quite incomplete and an Egyptian Arabic translation - that is very incomplete.
You just click on the username at the top left of any window and change the language to your chosen one from the selection of languages available.

RE: translate weberp into arabic
When you have translated a few words - you need to run the messages.po file you edited through another program "msgfmt.exe" to create the messages.mo file - if you send the file to me I will create the .mo file for you - or you can download the gettext utilities (containing the msgfmt.exe program) at :

http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/downlinks/gettext.php

assuming you are using windows os.
At a command prompt
Code:
$C:\
$cd  .....\webERP\locales\ar_EG.utf8\LC_MESSAGES\
$msgfmt messages.po

you should then see a new messages.mo containing the machine searchable archive of the translations you've entered.
