Problem with Item cost Update for Inquiries/Orderentry User - R2-G - 03-16-2017

Hi,
I need help with getting a user defined with the security role for Inquiries/Order Entry to be able to update stock item cost.
Currently the user can access StockCostUpdate.php but it does not allow the user to change the item cost.
The item cost update screen looks as below for the user.

The security role for Inquiries/Order Entry is set up as below

and the page security setting is as below

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance

You can see that token 18 is for cost authority and is not included in the role.

Hi Tim,

Thanks for your quick response.

I have added the cost authority to the Inquiries/Order Entry role and am getting the same result
i.e I can't enter the item cost as in the first image of original post above.

I have also tried setting the page security setting for StockCostUpdate.php to cost authority
but I still can't enter the item cost.

What else can I try ?

Thanks in advance

You logged out and back in again?

Hi,

Yes I been logging in as admin to make the changes to the role permissions then logging
out and logging in again as the Inquiries/Orderentry user.

I even tried creating a totally new user account and assigning it to Inquiries/Orderentry
role as newly set up with 18 cost authority.

still not working
