For Example, In MRP shortages : If item a rawmaterial X's qty in stock is 1500 and reorder level is 5000. Even if there is no manufacturing work order which uses X in the manufacturing, the MRP shortages report shows as below for X :
Supply : 1500, demand: 3500, short: 2000 which i think is erroneous. Firstly it should not show in MRP shortages if it is not getting used in any pending/open Work Orders. Secondly even if it shows up based on the reorder levels, the short qty shown is wrong. Hope you are able to understand what I am trying to convey.
(Or Maybe I have mis-understood how MRP shortages work?)
